Camping in Courchevel

Courchevel and its surrounding area have a few campsites and motorhome areas, mostly open in summer, though some operate in winter or off-season, so it’s worth checking before you book. There are no campsites in the resort itself, with the nearest at Brides-les-Bains and Bozel. Mountain refuges in Courchevel

If you want a taste of alpine charm on your Courchevel holiday, mountain huts and refuges in the surrounding peaks make cosy stops. Perfect for hikers, climbers and nature lovers, they offer simple meals, basic dormitory stays and a warm welcome in peaceful surroundings. You’ll find them on the edge of the Vanoise National Park, often reachable on foot or by electric mountain bike. Some host themed dinners, music nights or astronomy sessions, adding a special touch to your stay. In summer they open fully for overnights and meals, while in winter access may be more limited, but whether you drop in for a rest or spend the night, they’re a wonderful way to soak up the scenery and enjoy a traditional alpine experience.

Luxury accommodation in Courchevel

If you’re after luxury accommodation in Courchevel, you’re spoiled for choice. The resort is famous for its high-end chalets and apartments, many with private pools, spas and hot tubs, all close to the slopes and designer boutiques. Courchevel also offers several prestigious five-star hotels with world-class spas and gourmet dining, perfect if you want a blend of elegance and convenience during your stay.

Family accommodation in Courchevel

It’s best to stay somewhere with plenty of facilities close by so you’re not trekking far in ski boots. Courchevel Village is a quiet spot with easy access to the pistes, ski schools and plenty of family-friendly activities off the slopes. La Tania is another great choice, offering more affordable accommodation, a relaxed vibe and easy runs for little ones just starting out. Booking near a nursery slope will make lessons easier and your holiday much more enjoyable.

Cheap accommodation in Courchevel

Courchevel might not be famous for being the cheapest resort in the French Alps, but you can still enjoy a budget-friendly break if you know where to look. Generally, the closer you stay to the slopes and resort centre, the higher the prices, so villages a little further out usually offer better deals. La Tania is a great option for more affordable accommodation, with plenty of good value apartments and all the local services you need like bars, restaurants and shops.

Ski-in ski-out accommodation in Courchevel

Ski-in ski-out accommodation is hugely popular in Courchevel, so it tends to get snapped up quickly and usually comes with a higher price tag. But there’s nothing quite like stepping out your door with your skis on and gliding straight onto the slopes, so it’s definitely worth booking early if that’s your dream. Courchevel 1850 offers the best ski access in the Three Valleys, with plenty of ski-to-door options, though it can be pricey. Other parts of Courchevel also have ski-in ski-out places, but like 1850, they get booked up fast.

Party accommodation in Courchevel

You’ll want to stay as close to Courchevel 1850 as possible. There are a few bars in the other villages but most of the big après-ski action is in 1850 itself.

Courchevel Moriond offers quieter slopes with hotels and self-catered options, while Le Praz and La Tania are charming, family-friendly villages with traditional chalets, apartments and easy access to the wider Three Valleys.
