    About Local Buses in Courchevel

    Courchevel is spread over five villages, each with different personalities and located at diverse heights. They are all connected thanks to regular free shuttle services in the winter and the summer. Courchevel is also part of the Three Valleys ski area, linked to Val Thorens and Meribel via Moutiers.

    When looking at timetables be aware that they're in French so L = Lundi / Monday, M = Mardi / Tuesday, Me = Mercredi / Wednesday, J = Jeudi / Thursday, V = Vendredi / Friday, S = Samedi/ Saturday & D = Dimanche / Sunday.

    In the winter, Courchevel has a fantastic free bus service which connects Courchevel 1300 to 1550, 1650 and 1850 every 30 minutes from 07:00 until 02:00 the next morning.

    There are also hourly services connecting La Tania, Saint-Bon and Bozel into all four of the Courchevel areas. During the summer, the service runs every hour from 08:30 to 23:30, increasing its frequency to every half hourly from mid-July to mid-August.

    The closest bus station is in Moutiers, the town at the bottom of the mountain which is also where you'll arrive if you're coming by train. Buses from the nearest airports usually stop at Moutiers, from where you need to catch another bus to Courchevel (see below).

    Buses from Chambery airport to Courchevel operate four times per day on Saturdays and once on Sundays during the ski season. It takes around 2h30 to 3h00 hours to get to Courchevel, changing at Moutiers on the way.

    Buses from Lyon airport run on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays during the ski season and take around 03h15 to get here, also changing at Moutiers on the way. They operate twice a day on Fridays, four times on Saturdays and twice on Sundays. 

    Buses from Grenoble operate on Saturdays and Sundays in winter and are scheduled to meet arriving flights. It takes around 2h00 to 2h30 to get to Moutiers from this airport where you can pick up a connecting bus into Courchevel (see below)

    Buses from Geneva airport operate every day of the week in winter with six buses on Saturdays, four on Sundays and three on all the other days of the week. This route takes around 3h30 to 4h00.

    There is a bus connecting Moutiers with Courchevel 1850, 1650, 1550, 1300, La Tania, Saint-Bon, La Perrière and Brides-les-Bains. Children under 4 years old can travel for free on this service and 4-12-year-olds travel at half price.
