With two downhill specific trails, one cross country trail and one blue 'Funny Track' there is plenty for the beginner mountain biker to get their teeth into.

Funny Track Bellecote

Departing from the top of the Verdons gondola this easy graded trail is 3km long and descends 304m. This is a good place to test your skills, agility and speed. These single track downhill routes are aimed at children and families.

La Derotchu

Leaving from the Courchevel Tourist Office in 1850, this trail is 4.1km long and takes you on the 222m descent down into Moriond. With 42m ascent this is not a complete downhill trail, however a good introduction to mountain biking and a great way to get between the towns.

Lou Virolets

An easy downhill trail through the forests of La Tania that can be accessed from the top of the La Tania gondola, this run is more of a test of your beginner's endurance at 6.6km in length and with a descent of 513m. If you're good on this trail then maybe it is time to try out those red runs!

Boucle Courchevel La Croisette/ Epicea

This cross country trail is based down in La Tania and is a very pleasant trail through the forests. Graded as an easy trail with a length of 6.3km and ascent and descent of just 170m this is definitely one to get you used to riding on trails and away from the busy roads, a great way to explore the area and enjoy the wildlife.
