Ski mountaineers won't want to miss the weekly nighttime ski touring event organised by Millet and Courchevel Tourist Office.

Ski mountaineers - don’t miss this edition of the Millet Ski Touring® Courchevel! Put your touring skis on and meet in front of the Tourist Office in Le Praz at 18:20 for a 3.2km timed uphill race with a 500 vertical meter altitude difference, before arriving in front of La Croisette Courchevel 1850.

Every Wednesday, between 18 December 2024 and 5 March 2025, and on Sunday 15 December during the Ski mountaineering World Cup the very best ski tourers will battle it out for the record of the season, culminating in the grand fancy dress finale on 10 March and an exceptional concert.

Ski touring fans will have 14 opportunities (including the finale on 10 March) to tackle the route by torchlight, in an exceptional setting on a Vertical Race course which hosted the French Championships in 2012/13/22/24 and the World Cup in 2014 and 2024.

This Vertical Race event has become THE unmissable ski touring event, with more than 2,000 participants pitting themselves against each other every winter. Ski mountaineer world champions, Kilian Jornet and Laetitia Roux often take part in this competition, and are still the current record holders with times of 22 min 01 sec and 25 min 31 sec respectively..
