Green MTB trails
Family friendly biking on green trails around Courchevel Valley
Although there are no officially graded green trails in the Courchevel Valley there are plenty of areas for families to cycle. For example the lake areas of Le Praz and Courchevel 1850, or the ski de fond tracks around resort. If you are just looking to get out and stretch your legs on a bike rather than hiking up a great big hill then exploring the villages by bike is a great way to do it...ending with a dip in the lake perhaps or just an ice cream in the sunshine!
The Piou-piou is a perfect green trail for first experiences of down hill mountain biking. Mainly over meadows in the ski area and the final section winds through a forest. The route includes footbridges and banked bends but no jumps!
