More Michelin Stars for Courchevel
Seven Restaurants Now Hold Prestigious Status
The 2013 edition of the world renowned Michelin Guide has awarded 2 more Stars to restaurants in Courchevel. This means that the resort now holds an extremely impressive 12 Stars in total.
The star of the Courchevel gourmet world in 2013 is definitely Nicolas Sale who is responsible for both of the establishments recently awarded the prestigious pointy accolades. Nicolas runs La Table du Kilimandjaro which has just picked up its second Star and is also the Chef of the Hotel Le K2's restaurant - Le Kintessence - which wins it's first Michelin Star. Le Kintessence has only been open a year and is carving a formidable reputation.
The other restaurants in Courchevel that hold Michelin Stars are Les Airelles (2 Stars), Cheval Blanc (2 Stars), Le Chabichou (2 Stars), Le Strato (2 Stars) and L'Azimut (1 Star.)
The Michelin Guide is the oldest and best known European hotel and restaurant guide. The guide awards one to three Stars to a small number of restaurants of outstanding quality.
