1. Le Blanchot Mountain Restaurant

Le Blanchot has long been considered one of the finest restaurants in the Méribel valley, with a loyal clientele who return year after year to enjoy superior gastronomy in beautiful surroundings.

One of Méribel's top restaurants for many years, Le Blanchot is now under the new ownership of Matthieu and Delphine from Le CroMagnon, also in Méribel.

The restaurant is located above Méribel, on the road leading to the Altiport. You can ski or drive here for lunch, and on sunny days you will enjoy spectacular views from the dining terrace. At night the setting is a fairy tale, the lights of the chalet romantically twinkling in the forest. For non-skiers, it is conveniently located on the free Meribus route, or parking is provided.

The interior décor is charming, a traditional wooden chalet decorated with great care and impeccable taste, warmed by a roaring open fire. From the moment you arrive, you know you are in for a rather special experience.

Also open during the summer season with the terrace overlooking the Méribel golf course. Whatever the season you are sure of an excellent meal in delightful surroundings.

The restaurant is open from 09:00 to 17:00 daily with lunch being served from 12:00 to 16:00. We advise you to book in advance!

2. La Saulire Restaurant, Courchevel

Expensive but worth it is the general consensus of this restaurant. Great service and exceptional food make this a good choice for a special occasion.

Jacques the owner, is renowned for being a good host who offers everyone a warm welcome - you are invited to call in for a drink at the bar even if you are not dining. Chef Benoît Redondo has created an exquisite menu, including lots of black truffle specialities. The wine list is a kind of bible with all the famous Grands Crus from Bordeaux and prestigious spirits and liqueurs.

Specialities include wild sea bass biscuit, fresh vegetables emulsion, smoked butter and flower of caviar, oysters, truffle risotto, caviar, roasted young pigeon with fresh truffles and Mont-Blanc meringue and chestnut cream. They also have a selection of cheese fondues, including one with fresh truffles.

Open from early December to mid-April. Lunch from 12:00 to 15:00 and dinner from 19:00 to 23:00. Booking is recommended.

3. Le Cap Horn Restaurant

Cap Horn, a nautical themed seafood, rotisserie and sushi restaurant with an exceptional wine list.

It may be pricey but that's Courchevel 1850 for you and from the comfort of the large sunny terrace you can sit back and watch the millionaires rock up to the nearby Altiport in their private jets while you take your pick from a fresh seafood platter.

If fish isn't your thing they serve a good selection of salads, pasta dishes, omelettes, grilled meats and roasted chicken. If you enjoy good food, great wines and celebrations this is a great place to be.

Open daily for lunch and dinner, reservation recommended.

4. Le Musher Restaurant & Grill

Located in the heart of one of the most gastronomic resorts in France, this restaurant has an elegantly decorated dining room, and offers a varied cuisine that is refined and well presented.

Le Musher offers a complete sensory experience, with the comfort of the soup bar, the warmth of the rotisserie, the aromas of the grill, and the conviviality of indulgent sharing dishes. Of course you can also opt for the refined mountain experience with the specialities such as hot vacherin, truffled Savoyard fondue and crozet gratin which are sure to delight your taste buds.

The main restaurant dining room is beautiful, or you can sit out at the Musher Grill terrace outside. Located on the slopes at the foot of the Pralong chairlift, it's open every day weather permitting. Outside is much more focused around the mouth-watering selection of meats on the grill, but the restaurant menu is also available at lunchtime.

Discover the champagne and cocktail bar, and settle in to soak up the sun all day on the deckchairs and admire the breath-taking mountain views.

The Musher restaurant is open from 12:00 - 14:30 and from 19:00 - 22:00. The Musher grill is open from 12:00 - 17:00.

With its large fireplace and meat dishes and other specialities prepared over a wood grill, this restaurant is perfect after a day on the slopes, for a business meal, or family dinner.

Diners will enjoy its chic, relaxed atmosphere, impeccable service, exceptional wine cellar, and original cuisine. A delight for gourmands and lovers of fine dining experiences and gourmet delights.

After a day’s skiing or mountain hiking you will have built up a good appetite to enjoy a choice of hot and cold starters, from the sea and land, followed by fish, crustaceans and shellfish or meats, poultry and game. Followed, of course, by a selections of cheeses and desserts, including the “Brownie-style” chocolate croustillant, Pecan nut fraicheur, hot Chartreuse soufflé, pan-seared quince and pear...

Bright & modern cocktail bar and restaurant serving regional specialities, salads and sharing platters for lunch and dinner.

Situated just across the main road from the Troika beginner’s piste in the centre of La Tania, access can be gained via a public lift next to the Montana Hotel which takes you down to the ski bus stop immediately opposite.

La Taiga serves a variety of good value menus including a daily special Skier's Menu with a choice of 2 or 3 courses. Open every day from 12:00 to 14:30 for lunch and from 18:30 to 22:30 for dinner.

8. Le Tremplin Mountain Restaurant

A firm favourite of locals and tourists alike. Located just next to the main lifts area (La Croisette) in Courchevel 1850, this restaurant could not be better placed for your lunchtime or evening gourmet meal.

It is easily accessible from Val Thorens via the pistes and ski lifts of the Three Valleys network.

Serving everything from fresh seafood and sushi to filet steak the menu has everyone’s mouth watering. The wine list is one of the most extensive in Courchevel serving everything from local favourites to world famous grand crus.

Open for lunch from 12:00 to 18:00 and for dinner from 20:00 to 22:30. Booking is a must so please email or call the restaurant directly.

Decorated in antique wood and stone this restaurant has great views over the Saulire, with a bar and a fireplace to warm up by.

Simple,generous cuisine awaits you with a rich menu of classics such as Beaufort cheese tart, delicious cuts of meat, home-made bread and an incredible desserts buffet. Musicians, singers and a DJ are on hand to liven up your meal and top off a great day's skiing with music.

They serve local specialities, seafood, spit-cooked meats and have a great dessert buffet to choose from.
