Ski touring and ski alpinism are becoming higher profile sports and if you want to see some serious athletes in action, then you must check out this weekly event in resort. Or if you fancy it, sign up yourself!
The Dynafit Ski Touring invites ski touring fans to gather in Le Praz at 18:00 for a weekly night time race up to Courchevel (1850). The course is 3.2 km long, covers 500m in elevation gain and athletes race against the clock to the finish at the Croisette.
There are different categories according to age and registration costs €6 - forms are available at the official race site.
