Le Comptoir de L'Apogée Restaurant, Courchevel 1850

Chic, contemporary brasserie offering classic, refined dining in a relaxed atmosphere

featured in Restaurants Updated

From the moment you descend down the dramatic double staircase at its entrance, you know that you are in for a memorable evening at this restaurant.

Serving some of the finest French cuisine in resort, the emphasis here is on quality produce at its freshest. Grilled scallops, sea bass in a pistachio crust, Black Angus Chateaubriand and risotto with black truffle are just a tiny snapshot of the delicious choices on the menu.

Known for its dairy farming, the restaurant also showcases some of the finest cheeses from the local Savoie region. Classics such as Beaufort, Abondance and a creamy Reblochon in saffron rind are all beautifully displayed in the "fromagerie" as well as a fruity Tamié made by Trappist monks.

Ignore your straining waistband and don't forget to find a little space for one of the delectable dessert afterwards. You can always ski it off the next day....

Open daily for lunch, tea time and dinner throughout the winter season.
