Courchevel retains its place as the ski resort with the most Michelin stars.

Courchevel is home to one restaurant with the coveted and prestigious three stars, Le 1947 Named for a notable vintage of Chateau Cheval Blanc, the exclusive restaurant at the Cheval Blanc hotel welcomes a limited number of diners each night to experience the culinary creations of head chef Yannick Alléno. It is one of only three, three star restaurants in the French Alps.

In total there are seven starred restaurants in Courchevel, three  one star restaurants, three two star restaurants and the aforementioned three star restaurant. If you're so inclined and have deep pockets, you could dine at a different Michelin-starred restaurant every night of your stay! We'll call it the Courchevel Star Challenge.

Upcoming Events

There are loads of events in Courchevel and the 3 Valleys year round. From quirky local events to large scale sporting spectacles, there is always something worth visiting. Every February, the spectacular International Festival of Pyrotechnic Art comes to resort. Summer highlights include the Courchevel Air Show, the 3 Vallées VTT mountain bike event and the occasional stage of the Tour de France.
