Courchevel retains its place as the ski resort with the most Michelin stars.

Courchevel is home to one restaurant with the coveted and prestigious three stars, Le 1947 Named for a notable vintage of Chateau Cheval Blanc, the exclusive restaurant at the Cheval Blanc hotel welcomes a limited number of diners each night to experience the culinary creations of head chef Yannick Alléno. It is one of only three, three star restaurants in the French Alps.

In total there are seven starred restaurants in Courchevel, three  one star restaurants, three two star restaurants and the aforementioned three star restaurant. If you're so inclined and have deep pockets, you could dine at a different Michelin-starred restaurant every night of your stay! We'll call it the Courchevel Star Challenge.
