A huge renovation programme for the thermal baths and spa at Brides les Bains has just been announced, which will see 14 million euros invested at the site.

The spa complex, located at the bottom of the Meribel valley in Brides les Bains, is apparently the 11th most visited spa in France in terms of attendance numbers with around 16,000 people per year making use of the facilities.

This investment programme will see 11 million euros spent on building a new 5 storey building which will house 2 rehabilitation pools, a spa, rheumatology centre, two 25m swimming lanes, fun pools and water aerobics classes. There will also be a nutrition centre, kitchen classroom and a whole host of new treatments rooms. At the top of the building there will be a fitness and cardio room.

A further 2-3 million euros will be spent on updating the interior decor of the original spa building.

This coming winter it will be open from 26th December.
