Beaufort Cheese Competition

Professional cheese makers from accross the region come to Courchevel 1850 for the ultimate cheese off. Who makes the best Beaufort?

Every 2 years, the Beaufort Protection Society (yes, there is such a thing!) gathers its members together to honour this legendary cheese from the Savoie region. Professional producers will be putting their finest offerings to the taste test to discover who has made the best Beaufort this year.

The official competition will take place in the morning behind closed doors, after which the grand public will be allowed in to compare and contrast the cheeses on offer from 14:00 - 17:00. Will you agree with the professional taster's?

There will also be a demonstration of traditional Beaufort cheese-making methods on the snow front at La Croisette from 13:30 to 16:00.
