The bar offers a generous selection of regional and international wines, refreshing craft beers, and indulgent hot drinks - from rich hot chocolate to the house-made vin chaud, the perfect winter warmer after a day on the slopes. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick drink or settling in for the afternoon, there’s something to suit every mood.

At lunchtime, Le Schuss is known for its delicious burgers, a true highlight for hungry skiers. From three o’clock, the focus shifts to relaxed après-ski, with tempting tapas including deli-style meats and traditional mountain cheeses. For a heartier alpine experience, Savoyard and Swiss-style fondues are available by reservation, served in the café’s informal and welcoming setting.

3. La Luge Bar & Restaurant

La Luge Bar in Courchevel 1850 offers a fun, casual spot for food and drinks in the heart of the resort. Enjoy creative burgers, wraps and snacks served throughout the afternoon, then stay for lively DJ sets and expertly mixed rum cocktails from 17:00 onwards. With its buzzing atmosphere, La Luge is perfect for a relaxed bite, an energetic après-ski session or a night out with friends, combining great food, drinks and entertainment in one vibrant mountain setting.

You'll find it inside the Forum building, just next to the Croisette, making it a handy meeting point if you're linking up with non-skiers or looking for a bite between lifts. The menu includes hearty burgers, wraps, soups, salads and snacks, all at prices that are refreshingly reasonable for this part of town.

Food is served non-stop from midday until 18:00, so there's no need to rush, and the service is quick and friendly. Burgers are taken seriously here, with creative options like the 180g foie gras burger with asparagus and bacon. There’s also a side of practicality, this place doubles up as a sports shop, so you can browse the gear once you've eaten.

Later in the day, the atmosphere picks up as the DJ starts at 17:00 and the bar shifts into cocktail mode, with a focus on rum-based drinks. The bar stays open until 02:00, so whether you're looking for a casual lunch, a few après drinks or a bit of late-night buzz, La Luge has you covered. Just bear in mind it's inside the shopping centre, so you’ll need to leave your skis outside.
