1. Bistrot Machet Restaurant

A mountain restaurant that is part of the Maison Machet family. Located on the La Tania snow front it is accessible by ski from the slopes of Courchevel, or on foot from the resort of La Tania itself.

Julien and David welcome you to their “home”, a familial-style restaurant where diners can share and enjoy good food with a focus on enjoying a meal with friends and family.

On the menu you'll find traditional French cuisine and Savoyard specialities, each with their unique touch from the talented chef, who aims to celebrate French culinary tradition while infusing it with a touch of boldness and creativity.

Whether you’re a keen skier simply looking for a gourmet break between two descents, or if you're looking for that special place for a romantic evening meal, you'll be sure to satisfy your culinary desires here.

Open all year-round, daily in winter and from Wednesday to Sunday during the summer season.

Every second Sunday they offer a brunch service, with a specially-designed menu.

2. Le Farçon Restaurant

A firm favourite with locals and holidaymakers alike, both for its high quality cuisine and its reasonable prices.

Chef Julien Machet prepares delicious dishes using only seasonal and fresh ingredients. They work directly with producers in order to keep the high quality of their wines, vegetables and other produce.

Despite having a prestigious Michelin star, Le Farcon still offers great value for money with set menus, serving a popular and good value three course lunch menu and a choice of dinners menu at varying prices.

The restaurant is situated in La Tania. Booking is recommended. They open from Tuesday to Saturday, 12:00 to 13:30 and 19:30 to 21:30.

3. La Ferme Restaurant

This restaurant is the perfect pit stop for Savoyard food and a drink after a day on the mountain.

With French Savoie owners this authentic restaurant has the options to dine inside in the cosy interior or out on the sun terrace. 

Their fondue is melted Beaufort cheese which they claim to be the ‘King of the Gruyeres’, and Savoy white wine. This regional cheese is the essential base of the fondue which makes it lighter, tastier and more digestible. It is a pleasure for the taste buds and an exclusivity to La Ferme.They serve fondues, raclettes, tartiflettes and crepes as well as steak and chips, and cote de boeuf all accompanied by a nice wine list.

They are open seven days a week from December to April from 10:00 to midnight and in summer from 16:00 to midnight in July and August.

5. Les Marmottons Restaurant

Set in the heart of La Tania, Les Marmottons is a charming, wood-furnished restaurant that feels like a warm alpine escape. The menu blends comforting Savoyard classics with crowd-pleasing dishes — think cheesy fondues, rich tartiflettes, hearty meats and cosy casseroles. Generous portions, friendly service and a welcoming, rustic vibe make it perfect for relaxed dinners after skiing. Whether you’re sharing a platter by the fire or tucking into a filling meal with friends, Les Marmottons hits the spot for comfort food and good times.

There is a large sunny terrace very close to the slopes, and a warm and cosy dining room. They also offer an afternoon tea break with sweet crêpes and ice creams. Open every day from 9:00 to 23:00 in winter and summer.

6. La Taiga Restaurant and Bar

La Tania

Bright and modern cocktail bar and restaurant serving regional specialities, salads and sharing platters for lunch and dinner.

Situated just across the main road from the Troika beginner’s piste in the centre of La Tania, access can be gained via a public lift next to the Montana Hotel which takes you down to the ski bus stop immediately opposite.

La Taiga serves a variety of good value menus including a daily special Skier's Menu with a choice of 2 or 3 courses. 

Open every day from 12:00 to 14:30 for lunch and from 18:30 to 22:30 for dinner.

About choosing a restaurant in Courchevel

At lunchtime you’ll see that most restaurants serve a well-priced plat du jour or dish of the day, usually with locally sourced meat, potatoes and a salad or seasonal vegetables. The majority of restaurants are child friendly and offer children’s menus. Some places stay open right through the day and into the evening so you can have an early dinner if that works best for your family.

Head to the ground floor of Le Forum shopping centre, right next to the ten-pin bowling alley and amusement arcade which children love. Here you can tuck into omelettes, burgers and pizzas.
