La Cortona is a great restaurant, run by an Italian family, it was named after the village they’re from in Tuscany. The pizzas here are huge and always fresh from a wood-fired oven. The pizza menu is inventive with toppings such as truffled ham and smoked salmon but they also integrate some classic Savoyard ingredients including raclette cheese and reblochon. The atmosphere in this restaurant is lively and always busy with French locals, seasonnaires and holidaymakers. It really is one of the best places to get an authentic Italian pizza.

Making pizzas in Courchevel for over 25 years! Cortona serves a wide variety of delicious pizzas made in traditional wood fired ovens as well as offering local specialities such as fondue and raclette. For an authentic evening of traditional Savoie including the speciality fondue Bourguignonne. 

The interior is simple and authentic and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. Definitely worth a visit, especially as it offers such great prices. Open for lunch and dinner and open all day at weekends.

2. La Petite Bergerie Restaurant

A smart local restaurant with a lot of charm and atmosphere in the heart the Courchevel Le Praz, serving dinner as well as après-ski drinks and snacking.

Only a few minutes walk from the lake and the snowfront of Le Praz 1300, this is an ideal spot to stop off on the terrace for an après-ski drink on your way back to your accommodation.

Or head out in the evening for dinner, in the heart of the old town it's easily accessible on foot. Settle into the warm and rustic dining area, with a wonderful wood and stone mountain decor.

On the menu you'll find sharing platters and snacks, as well as a large range of Savoyard fare such as fondue and grilled meats. The meats are cooked on the open wood-fired grill, visible from the dining area, for a unique dining experience.

Open in summer and winter seasons, from Tuesday-Sunday from 17:00 - 00:00. As there are less restaurants in Le Praz, do book ahead, especially on your chalet host's day off.
