Le Chabichou Restaurant, Courchevel style of cuisine

1. Le Chabichou Restaurant

Location
Courchevel 1850

This two Michelin starred restaurant is at the heart of Courchevel 1850, and offers you a choice of dining on the terrace, the elegant dining room, the new bistro, or at one of the chefs tables in the kitchen.

From here you can watch chefs Michel Rochedy and Stéphane Buron at work, creating their gastronomical wonders right in front of you.

As you'd expect there is a great wine list, chosen by sommelier Bruno Cahu and the prices are what you'd expect to pay in this level of two starred Michelin restaurant.

At lunchtime you can enjoy the skiers menu at 55€ which is often a popular choice and in the evenings the Bistro is increasingly becoming a popular choice with prices being slightly less than the Michelin starred restaurant.

Open daily 09:00 to 19:00

At this bistro they have added an innovative twist to Savoyard cuisine. It is located at the Chabichou Hotel in the centre of resort.

They offer great food, with a bistro menu as well as local specialities. The restaurant combines traditional and contemporary design with dishes like skewered meats, reinvented Savoyard recipes and home made desserts.

In the evenings, there is live music at the bar with the occasional cabaret night to entertain you while you dine. It's a great venue for just dining or a special event.

3. Le Bistrot du Praz Restaurant

Location
Courchevel 1300

Just on the left side of the lake in Le Praz, this is a traditional French restaurant. Ski down either Jockeys or Jean Blanc or get the Praz or Fôret bubbles down. It’s easily accessible by road, or on foot if you’re staying in Le Praz.

A very popular, excellent quality but reasonably priced French restaurant in the atmospheric village of Le Praz. The restaurant has a beautiful decor and cosy, comfortable atmosphere - it’s got that lovely warm feeling that’s great to hole up in on a snowy day for a long, long lunch (and a taxi home!). On sunny and warmer days, you can settle in on the terrace and enjoy the views over the lake for lunch of après-ski.

The menu is carefully curated with simple and fresh products and the chef is also present in the restaurant during service to offer recommendations for the most exceptional dining experience.

The service is excellent and attentive, the portion sizes generous, the atmosphere welcoming and relaxed

The menu is full of your favourite very French dishes., as well as a smattering of more exotic options. If you're feeling traditional, try the Fois Gras, scallops carpaccio or snail ravioli, followed by slow cooked beef cheek, or cote de boeuf to share. In the very French way there is always a dish of the day special on offer, as well. For something alternative, try the thai influenced fusion dishes.

Open from Tuesday to Saturday for lunch 12:00 - 14:00 and dinner 19:00 - 21:30.
