Courchevel Resort Logistics

Courchevel resort is comprised of several different villages: Courchevel Le Praz (1300m), La Tania (1400m), Courchevel Village (1550m), Courchevel Moriond (1650m), and Courchevel (1850m). The different villages of the Courchevel valley are all well connected by the free shuttle bus service, and of course the high-speed lift-system. The Grangettes Gondola even connects Courchevel Village to Courchevel 1850 throughout the day and evening until 00:30.

The resort logistics make travelling to and around the resort more complicated than in some more centralised resorts, so knowing which village and pick-up/drop-off point you're travelling from is even more important.

For Courchevel resort, there are transfers available from Geneva and Lyon Airports and Moutiers Train Station. In resort, there are drop-off points in all of the main Courchevel villages: Courchevel Le Praz, La Tania, Courchevel Village, Courchevel Moriond, and Courchevel 1850. From these stops you can use the public bus network or walk to reach your accommodation and get around resort. Taxis are also available (advance booking recommended).

Geneva Airport Route | AlpSkiBus

To reach Courchevel from Geneva Airport, it is a two-leg journey and you have to make a connection at Moutiers Bus Station. Both connecting bus tickets are included in your booking. The journey takes approx. 4h.

Leg 1: Geneva - Moutiers shuttle is operated by AlpSkiBus. It runs throughout the winter season. At Moutiers Bus Station you'll make a connection to the resort of Courchevel.
Leg 2: Moutiers - Courchevel shuttle runs during the winter and summer seasons and is only a 1h10 journey. The connecting bus will wait for you at the station.

Lyon Airport Route | LYS'Express

To reach Courchevel fom Lyon Airport, it is a two-leg journey and you have to make a connection at Moutiers Bus Station. Both connecting bus tickets are included in your booking. The journey takes approx. 3h40.

Leg 1: Lyon - Moutiers shuttle is operated by the LYS'Express line. It runs throughout the winter season. At Moutiers station you'll make a connection to the resort of Courchevel.
Leg 2: Moutiers - Courchevel shuttle runs during the winter and summer seasons and is only a 1h10 journey. The connecting bus will wait for you at the station.

Moutiers Train Station Route

Moutiers Train Station is located only 25km from Courchevel Resort and is served by SNCF train lines from Chambéry, Lyon Part Dieu and Paris, but also Amsterdam, Brussels and London thanks to Thalys and Eurostar!

The journey from Moutiers - Courchevel is via a direct shuttle service from the Bus Station, located next to the Train Station. It runs during the winter and summer seasons and is only a 1h10 journey, stopping at all of the main villages in Courchevel.
