About Summer Lift Pass Options in Courchevel

Some of the ski lifts are open in Courchevel in summer, to give you access to the many walking trails, mountain bike routes, climbing and via ferrata in the region.

There are two main types of summer lift passes which you can use in Courchevel or the wider 3 Valleys area:

  • 3 Vallees Evasion pass - Gives you access to all the lifts in Courchevel, Meribel and Val Thorens
  • Carte Loisirs pass - Gives you access to all the lifts open in the Courchevel area

Summer lift-passes

The 3 Valleys Evasion pass give you access to all of the summer lifts in the 3 Valleys and is the most popular option for people staying in Courchevel in the summer. 

The 'Carte Loisirs' gives you access to all the lifts open in Courchevel. this card also gives you access to the skating rink, archery, kayaking, mini golf and forest adventure course in La Rosiere.

Passes for summer lifts can be bought from the Tourist Office in Courchevel and Le Praz. Tickets are available for a single trip, two trips, a day, seven days or the whole summer. 

Mountain bike lift-passes

The cost for a mountain bike pass or a hiking and walking pass are the same in summer. You can buy by the day or the week, or the season. You'll also get access to the ice rink for free although you need to pay 2 euros for skate hire.

Free passes

  • Children 5 years and under, and adults 75 years and above may use the lifts for free (proof of age required)
  • All return journeys on the lifts are free
  • If you have a Courchevel season pass from last winter you can access the summer lifts for free
