This beautiful chalet is located in the heart of resort just a short walk to the snow front where all the lifts are. It is within a stone's throw of the resorts shops, restaurants and bars.
The chalet has a modern feel with a light and airy wooden interior and includes its own private sauna; perfect for reviving any aches and pains following an active day on the mountain.
On the second level to take advantage of the views is the main living area which is all open plan with balconies on either side. The sitting area include two comfortable leather sofas, flat-screen satellite TV and DVD player so you easily switch off in-front of a film at the end of the day. There is also an iPod docking station so you can chill-out to your favourite tunes.
At the other end of this space is the modern fully fitted kitchen with everything you need to create your favourite meals, including a full-sized oven, hob, microwave, fridge-freezer and dishwasher.
The chalet includes a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer which is particularly useful if you plan a longer stay or are travelling with younger kids. There is also a ski / boot room where you can store all your equipment without it cluttering up your living space.
Free WiFi access is available through the chalet so you can easily check your email and keep up with friends and family at home.
The chalet can sleep up to 8 in 4 en-suite bedroom which are configured as follows:

You’ll need to book your own childcare, when staying here. There is a great choice of childcare options in Courchevel from full-time nanny services to the odd night of babysitting. In addition, during the winter season, many of the ski-schools operate creche services. Booking in advance is always recommended and strongly advised for the school holiday periods.

Generally, you’re best off choosing somewhere close for ease of access, & less far to carry your kit, easier to make changes, and quicker to return and pay at the end. Instructors & Lessons
When staying here, you’ll need to book your own ski or snowboard lessons. Tuition is strongly recommended for complete beginners and is always a good idea whatever your level to perfect your technique. Group lessons are a great way for children to learn with their peers whilst giving you some free time on the slopes. Groups are also a generally cheaper option for adults, however, with a private instructor you’ll have undivided attention and be able to progress at your own pace.

The chalet is just 50 meters from the local bus stop which runs to Courchevel (1850) and to Courchevel Village all the way down to La Tania and La Praz.

Tourism in the Courchevel Valley started as early as the beginning of the Twentieth Century with summer holidays rather than winter. The first skiers arrived in Courchevel in the 1930's and the development plan for a ski resort with the help of Lauren Chappis in the 1940's. The official name of 'Courchevel' was decided upon in 1946 along with the creation of the first hotel 'Trois Vallees Hotel'. The first ski lifts were installed towards the end of 1946 by Jean Pomagalski joining Courchevel Village to Courcehvel. By the late 1950's the resort consisted of; one cable car, three gondalas, six ski lifts and 210 buildings for accommodation. Development continued and over fifty years later there is currently 58 ski lifts and 150km of piste along with four separate resorts; Courchevel, Courchevel Moriond, Courchevel Village and Le Praz.
As you increase in altitude towards Courchevel you also seen an increase in facilities with Courchevel Moriond having a better selection of shops, bars, restaurants and amenities than the lower two resorts whilst still retaining the small town charm.
Courchevel Moriond has a nice selection of restaurants with everything from the creative menu at Le Table du Monali to local specialities and pizzas made on an open wood fire at Le Petit Savoyard or a good ol' pancake at Alti Crepes.

With the north facing aspect of many slopes in Courchevel they are some of the best in the Three Valleys. There are great views across to Mont Blanc and over the valley to Champagny and Bellecote in the La Plagne ski area.

Things to Do Nearby
Based at 1650m there is great skiing to be had from the base of Moriond along with cross country skiing and if you need time to relax there are two great spas, Bamford Oskia Le Portetta and Mahayorna Spa Manoli. In the summer there is walking, biking and rock climbing along with a unique opportunity to brush up on your musical skills or learn a new instrumet at the Courchevel Music Academy!

From the snow front in Courchevel Moriond the main lift is the Ariondaz Gondola from which you can ski towards the Aiguille du Fruit Chairlift for connections to the main part of Courchevel and towards Meribel. Alternatively there is plenty of cruisey blues and challenging reds in Moriond alone that can be accessed via the Signal lift. The snow front also doubles as a beginner area and there are a number of drag lifts which lead you to gentle greens and blues.

Courchevel Moriond offers some really different apres at Le Poretta with the fire and ice bar - drink ice shots whilst keeping snug under fur blankets until it's time to wobble home. For a more lively venue try the Funky Fox or Le Bubble Bar. If you want more of a French vibe the small quaint La Cabane will do the trick.
