Matisse Bas Chalet, La Tania

The chalet will sleep 8 people in 1 double and 3 twin rooms. Each room has it’s own en-suite bathroom. The twin rooms havee a bath with overhead shower and the double room has a shower only. Some of the rooms are big enough to add an additional cot or put-up bed.

The chalet can interconnect with its neighbour, Chalet Matisse Haut, through the shared boot room making it suitable for larger groups of up to 16 people.

The chalet is let on a fully catered basis providing delicious wholesome cuisine including a delicious cooked breakfast to start your day, afternoon tea including a scrumptious home baked cake and a delectable three course meal with carefully chosen appellation controlled bottled wine served during the meal.

For a small supplement they can also serve pre dinner canapés, an aperitif and an additional cheese course.

La Tania is a great family resort with easy access to the rest of the Courchevel valley and the Three Valleys ski area. All of chalets are within 200 metres from the piste and some are less than 100 metres so very little walking in ski boots is required to get to and from the piste.

• We had a really lovely holiday in La Tania and were all extremely pleased with the chalet and the excellent hospitality from Steve and Margaret. They made us very welcome, the food was fantastic every evening and nothing seemed too much trouble for them. The transfer to and from the airport also went very smoothly, with no hold-ups. It was great to have all the boots and skis delivered to the house and they were very helpful in making any changes we needed. The chalets will be cleaned and ready for new arrivals after 3pm on Saturday or Sunday afternoon. However, should you arrive between 9am and 3pm they will make somewhere available for you to leave your bags and arrange for you to change so that you are able go out skiing if you wish.

NB. Please note that however you travel, for the comfort of outgoing guests, they cannot accommodate new arrivals into any of the chalets before 9am on the day of arrival or after midnight.

You will be asked you to vacate your chalet by 10am on your day of departure. If you wish to ski on this day then they can store your luggage for you and endeavour to make a room available for you to change before you leave resort.

Children under 5 years, who stay in their parents room will be charged £100. Those between 5 -12 years will receive a 20% discount, and additional child discounts of 50% are on offer during our 'family weeks',  as well as half price childcare.
