The recognised absolute best place to stay. From here, you have a choice of bars, restaurants and everything that 1850 has to offer conveniently close at hand. On top of that, there is supremely easy access to the slopes, with the Loze piste literally just metres away.
La Croisette is the lively epicentre of 1850 next to the World Cup slalom stadium, where all the main ski-lifts start, the ski-school meets, and après ski bars get lively.
The open-plan lounge and bar area was refurnished last year and with its open fireplace, is the ideal place to enjoy a pre- or post-dinner drink in the evenings. There is also a small separate DVD lounge or ‘snug’, providing additional space to relax, so don’t forget a few DVD’s.
The attractive dining-room opens off the bar, and provides the ideal setting for the skiers’ buffet breakfast and ‘Culinary Choice’ evening meals.

- "After a friendly welcome we settled into a spacious room on the top floor with superb views. I cannot fault the organisation of the hotel, and the cleanliness of the rooms. Nothing was too much trouble, the food plentiful, varied and delicious . Every effort was made to make us comfortable and to aid our enjoyment of our holiday. team games and afternoon tea added to the friendly atmosphere. Boot room was small but warm with sufficient space to change. The location of the hotel was excellent. Easy access to town ,ski slopes, lifts and very close to ski hire. My friend and I enjoyed the area and the hotel so much we have for the first time ever re-booked for next year." - Trip Advisor
- "Currently staying in this fabulous chalet hotel. It's location is great. It's not actually on the piste but it's less than a minutes walk to get onto a piste. Food is lovely. Breakfast has plenty of choice and always a cooked option. So far dinner has been delicious with a good range to choose from. Wine is as advertised - free flowing!! Rooms are pleasant and we are lucky enough to have a bath. The staff are excellent, friendly and helpful. What is refreshing is their knowledge of the ski area and they are happy to suggest routes and restaurants. All in all a lovely hotel at a reasonable price for Courcheval 1850. I would definitely come back and will certainly be using Ski Total again!!" - Trip Advisor
- "Arrived 6 March 2016 to excellent ski conditions and weather. This was equalled by the Coq de Bruyere making it a perfect holiday. The Hotel was only minutes from the centre of activity, the staff were 'all' outstanding and the organisation was spot on. The room was ideal and the catering could not be faulted. The Chalet Hotel is run by Ski Total who arrange all that is required, Ski Hire, Transfers, Passes etc. Without doubt a very slick organisation. Our first trip with them and will certainly be booking for next year. Take a bow Coq de Breyere - you deserve it." - Trip Advisor
- "Our first stay in a Chalet hotel and we are now converted and will certainly stay again. The thing that makes the Coq De Bruyere special is its staff who go out of their way to make your holiday special. The food was varied, excellent and plentiful and the chalet is ideally located close to the slopes and ski hire shop . Really can't think of any negatives and look forward to returning soon." - Trip Advisor

The main lift hub for Courchevel is conveniently in the centre of the resort. There are a choice of 4 lifts directly from the snow front or if you would rather start skiing straight away you can ski down to Courchevel Village and Le Praz. The first of the four main lifts is the Chenus Bubble Lift which leads over towards the Col de la Loze Chair Lift connection with Meribel and La Tania. The Verdons Bubbe Lift which takes you to the top of resort where there are also connections to Meribel and skiing towards Courchevel Moriond. The Verdons lift is split into two halves, the first provides access to gentle greens and blues and the second more challenging reds and blacks. The remaining two options from the snow front are the Jardin Alpin Bubble Lift and the Bellecote Drag lift which both lead to beginner areas. If queues are particularly busy first thing in the morning, it is worth taking a short ski from the snow front to the Plantrey Chair Lift from where you can ski down to La Tania or take connections to Meribel.
