Situated in the very centre of Courchevel 1650, with the main gondola and piste just across the street and convenient for all the resort’s amenities.

The Cascades has been extensively refurbished over recent seasons, to create a comfortable and well-designed chalet in the most convenient of locations.

The more spacious rooms at the rear of the chalet and the stylish dining-room have spectacular views across the Bozel valley. The large gabled lounge on the third floor, with TV/DVD is the hidden gem of the property offering a very comfortable area in which to unwind.

Please note that this property is only available for 7 or 14 night stays on a catered basis. Flights from selected UK airports are included in the price (a self-drive discount is also available).

Sleeping

The large chalet can sleep up to 78 guests in 29 bedrooms. All bedrooms come with ensuite shower or bath rooms. There is a combination of twin rooms, double rooms, suites sleeping three or four people and rooms with a mezzanine level with another bed.

The resort of Courchevel is so extensive many people visit without actually skiing! There is every type of shop you can imagine from ski wear, clothes, footwear and jewellery to gifts and groceries. A great resort with lots of events throughout both summer and winter.

Courchevel has a huge range of  restaurants, the choice is vast - you can eat in an igloo, have fondue and champagne in a Yhurt, have dinner at a woodcutters lodge and sledge back to your accommodation or drink mulled wine around a camp fire in a teepee! If you're looking for something less rustic you can enjoy seafood at 2000m at Le Cap Horn, treat yourself to 1* Michelin at Baumaniere 1850, upgrade to 2* Michelin at Le Chabichou, go Italian at Le Cenduee, enjoy traditional French cuisine at Le Mangeoire, try Asian Cuisine at Le Grand Cafe, sushi at Le Tremplin and Oysters at Exodus Cafe. Sights nearby

With the north facing aspect of many slopes in Courchevel they are some of the best in the Three Valleys. There are great views across to Mont Blanc and over the valley to Champagny and Bellecote in the La Plagne ski area.

Things to Do nearby

There are numerous activites in Courchevel in both summer and winter. During the winter there are some really unique activities for a ski holiday such as; hand gliding, helicopter tours, ice climbing, ice skating, tandem skydive, sledge and toboggan. There's even the opportunity to drive a piste basher! In the summer along with walking and mountain biking you can take part in activities such as archery, climbing, cookery lessons and paintball.

Lifts/Pistes nearby

From the snow front in Courchevel Moriond the main lift is the Ariondaz Gondola from which you can ski towards the Aiguille du Fruit Chairlift for connections to the main part of Courchevel and towards Meribel. Alternatively there is plenty of cruisey blues and challenging reds in Moriond alone that can be accessed via the Signal lift. The snow front also doubles as a beginner area and there are a number of drag lifts which lead you to gentle greens and blues.

Nightlife nearby

Courchevel has a huge range of bars there must be something for everyone's apres tastes here; test the Master Barman in the art of mixology at Le 8611, enjoy some relaxing piano bar apres at Anna Purna, sample wine and charcuterie at Bar Joe, relax by the fire in Le Stanleys Bar, get that village pub feel from home in L'eQuipe, move on to the whisky's in Le Palace de Nieges and then treat yourself to vintage Champagne in Le Billini's - just to name a few!
